A highly productive and creative being, Maria Cina has had a wide range of professional and entrepreneurial experiences.

 

As an actress, Maria has appeared on film for some amazing directors, including Francis Ford Coppola. On television, she has appeared in   CRIMINAL MINDS, BATTLE CREEK and SEINFELD and many others. In theaters, such as The Mark Taper Forum, The Kirk Douglas and The Hollywood Bowl, Maria has worked with playwrights John Robbie Baitz,  Stephen Belber, Chay Yew, and Gary Lennon.  Maria co-produced the award-winning film April's Shower, in which she also starred. As a dancer, Maria has toured with Prince and Reba McEntire and disappeared twice nightly with Siegfried & Roy at the Mirage in Las Vegas. Maria is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA, The Actor's Equity Association and The American Society Of Composers And Publishers.

 

Maria has been a life-long student of performance, aesthetics and style. In 2003, she created Spiritual Lingerie, a fine jewelry line that quickly amassed a famous client list (including Naomi Campbell & Matthew McConaughey) and features in Bazaar, InStyle, and US Weekly, as well as on VH-1's television magazine THE FABULOUS LIFE. For her partnership with Cirque Du Soleil, Maria created a line of sterling silver jewelry, based on the philosophy of the famous circus, that was sold worldwide.

 

In 2013, Maria joined forces with Mea Argentieri to bring MEAMAC LUXURY HANDBAGS into the hands of women everywhere. Made in USA, MeaMac's day-to-night adaptive and connective handbag concept is the perfect luxury leather handbag for women on the go. 

 

Philanthropically, Maria is aligned with The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition and The Noreen Fraser Cancer Foundation and is committed to making a difference with Women's Health Initiatives.
Having adopted her son, Nam, from Vietnam, Maria and her boy have committed to the Children Of Vietnam Organization, with whom they built a kindergarten in Danang, in 20010, that serves 122 children daily.  and are currently building an elementary school (grades 1-5) for the ethnic minority C'Tu Tribe in the mountains of rural Vietnam.

 

In 2017, Maria launched CREATEHER ,  a consultancy and production house with a focus on female-centric live events, featuring women-owned businesses and female artisans, authors, tastemakers and game-changers.

 

A passionate cook, commissioned painter, lover of adventure and a magical ball of light, Maria's caring heart, and effortless domestic mastery has earned her the nickname "Mama Cina" around the globe.

She is an ordained minister and presides over weddings and soul passages.


Maria is married to FREQUENCY founder, Blair Harrison. They have one amazing son and three rescued doggies.
